  • Letourneau University (LETU) is a private, located in Longview, Texas, United States.
  • The site became Letourneau Technical Institute, founded in 1946 with only male students. In 1961 the school became Letourneau College, a co-educational four-year school. In 1989 Letourneau College became Letourneau University under the leadership of President Alvin O. Austin, who served until 2007.
  • Today, around 1,000 students attend Letourneau University classes online.
  • At the core of Letourneau University is an undergraduate program of 1,396 traditional students at its main campus in Longview. Letourneau has a diverse pool of undergraduates, representing 50 states, 20 countries, and over 45 denominations.
